			Brigitte Maurel Haberland was born in Mauritius in 1950. A nomad at heart she has travelled extensively from Africa to Europe and Arabia. A born islander she decides to return to Mauritius in 84 and starts to paint in 92. A variety of her work was shown in South Africa and many of her paintings are hanging in various homes around the world. She is a visionary artist with distinct subject "woman" as her main influence.
